I haven't truly got to know its full potential yet, but just using it for the first time I already picked up on how much more user friendly they made it... you can do all the editing we you're using it as a VSTi (in absynth 2 it would open the standalone) and no new screens pop up and cascade, cleaning up a lot of the mess... new factory preset came with the program too... lots of lush atmospheres great for making ambient... excellent program! absynth 3 is the same great program, but fixed all my small complaints about 2...
