that combinator effect is going to be really good for ambient... blend in some atmospheres with some weird bleep synths... going to be fun!

also, the improved compressor and the new maximizer is going to be great too :)

Ya someone told me that because it somehow everyone in Europe got a hold of the beta version or something, it prompted them to release it earlier. Who knows if this is true or not though.

I'm choked by the fact that it won't be supporting VSTs. I'd honestly pay for it if it did. Why do you figure they dont want to support vsts?

Yea the compressor in 2.5 is pretty weak.

I wonder how much it will cost to upgrade?

I recently read about how the latest Beastie Boys album was done with Reason- Mixed and processed with Protools, but created with Reason.

Krusha will become famous soon enoughKrusha will become famous soon enough
why no vst's?

easy awnser ... reason sells itself partially on the basis that it is not very cpu intensive , what do you think would happen if they incorporated 3rd party plugs?

the new eq's and combinator almost makes it a decent program without the rewire

exactly... and it would also kinda defeat the purpose of having rewire...
