Cubase Question
I just need to know how to speed up the tempo on an audio block. When I have an audio block and a midi block loaded, and I change the tempo on the track, it only changes the tempo on the midi and not the audio block. I'll try to figure it out in the meantime but if anyone knew off hand?

a quick easy way to do it...
see the little pointer tool? click on it and hold, you'll see a little menu pop down and select the option that says "Sizing applies time stretch". Then, make sure you have snap selected and it'll instantly do it properly - just make sure your sample is cut properly. Say, you have an audio percussion loop. Make sure that it's four beats... then any time you change tempo all you have to do is take the four-beat audio block and stretch it to four beats on the new grid that your tempo change has created i loooove that option. i could talk about it all day. |
