New breakbeat track - looking for feedback plz
Broken beat heads, please have a listen, this is my newest breaks project. I have tried to get some feedback in the 'personal promo' section, but obviously people don't visit that section very much. Anyways, It has a very "Deekline" feel to it as deekline is one of my fav producers to date.
The track is called "Bumbaclaat" and had a very booty/tech sound, complete w/sitar samples and elephant man vocals. A couple of questions, one, would you buy this record? And two , if no, what does it need to make it a sure sale. I think it's personally a heavy track with an enormous b-line, and a catchy hook. What do you think? Please be kind as this is just a rough draft. Click here to download! AND, if you like this one, click here to download more d&b, breaks and hiphop tracks I've done. Soma: Yeah its tough to get the harmonics right with the sitar as it has a flat sound and hard to match pitches. Sh4un: Thats kind of the booty bass part with the prominant kick. The idea was to have the booty beat, but the nu-skoolish bass (The same style deekline uses) I'll try turning down the kick and see how it sounds. Cheers for the feedback mates! Every little bit helps! |

Sounds good, I'd dance to it. When the Sitars are playing I'd keep the bass doing it's low sequence- don't do the higher note sequence (I think that's what Soma meant too- Im not sure)
I personaly like the Kick out there for that style "Bumbaclaat!" watch the floaty too much Delay panned L-R effect. Maybe shorten the length on the delay- JMO. It kinda tumbles and rolls too much for my taste. I hope you post the final version, cause it's a nice track. |
