One year after the release of the inaugural Therapy Sessions compilation, Renaissance and Dave Seaman are set to return with the second volume in the series. This time around, Luke Chable handles the guest disc honours with a tough, breaks-fuelled extravaganza that draws heavily on his fellow Melbourne compatriots, alongside some of his own acclaimed tracks and remixes whist Dave's disc takes him in a new and distinct new musical direction, featuring a fresh-faced blend of electro-tinged funk and rock elements that will blow you away.

As one of the world's leading DJs for the past decade, thanks to a landmark residency at Shelley's and remixing some of the biggest and best names in music alongside Steve Anderson as Brothers In Rhythm, Dave is one of the most prolific figures in dance music, and the Therapy Sessions compilation concept allows him to use this standing to introduce and break new talent that emerges from around the world. Last year Dave was accompanied by Phil K, and this year it's the turn of Luke Chable.

Unsurprisingly I headed back to Melbourne, Australia to find another Therapy minded DJ for our second outing. I've made no secret over the years of my love for the city and it's embarrassing wealth of talent and after Phil K masterfully took care of business on volume 1, it was the next obvious step to ask his production partner in LoStep and fully fledged master remixer in his own right, Luke Chable to co-pilot Volume 2' - Dave Seaman

Since the widely acknowledged promise of Accelerator, his prodigious debut release at the age of 19, Luke Chable has steadily risen into the spotlight, contributing to the list of defining tracks thave have shapped the progressive and breaks genres in the last few years. His discography reads with recognition, the most recent example 'Ride', co-penned with Danny Bonicci having garnered the much sought after "Essential New Tune" plaudit from Pete Tong, and collaborative LoStep project with Phil K has been signed to Global Underground for a long term project. Beyond his immediate peer group, Luke has also collaborated with James Holden, PQM, Cass and Austin Leeds; released on Yoshitoshi, Bedrock and Positiva and remixed Bjork, Crystal Method, Gus Gus and Sasha. With his production work heavily supported by Sasha, and his very own label Trojan Records due to launch shortly (material from which is showcased on this album, it's little wonder his DJing is now in such demand, a trend that looks set to continue with a worldwide tour over the coming months, and his guest appearance here is a perfect insight into his widespread and varied musical style. 'It's a great opportunity that Therapy and Renaissance have given me, and it's given me the platform to show that I'm not just about one thing. From a bird's eye view it has a real broad range, with elements of funk, acid and electro, nu skool and progressive breaks all covered but up close I think it works and shows that you can rock it with more than one fine tuned sound' - Luke Chable
