comfortable work environment

I had some huge writer's blocks for the longest time, but now that I've moved my laptop into my computer room (two comps side by side) I find that the music just flows right out of me... like I've been holding back a river in my mind... now released... wonderful feeling...

how much do you think a comfortable working environment contributes to the music you write?

hella. tho I'm the opposite - I currently have my workspace and my studio space in the same room; the same chair even. I hate it, and at the end of the workday, the last place I want to be is the studio. We're moving into a new house soon tho, so I'll be building myself a real studio, seperate from my office...

...dunno what I'm gonna do about computers tho... I don't really want to have to have two. :(

I used to have my "studio" (lol) in my bedroom, and there's very little room, so I'd have my lap, guitar, keyboard, speakers, and everything else on my bed... fuck, you'd think working on a bed would be comfy but its not... its actually really fucking awful... my family just got a new huge desk that, lucky, is able to perfectly fit my laptop on the sidespace... it rules... and if I need a break, all I have to do to play games is turn around...
