those little annoying clicks and pops... how the fuck do I get rid of them? any good programs out there for getting rid of them?

ok, now clicks and pops, are they in the samples? or are they just coming generally from all the sounds from vsts etc?

samples? just chuck the sample, it's not worth fixing.

general clicks and pops, there's a couple things you can try to fix. try setting the buffer on your audio card to a much higher rate. usually clicking and popping happens if the buffer is less than 1024.

if that doesn't solve your problem, you've basically got to replace your audio card with a quality professional card.

if your clicks/pops are when your coming onto or off the edge of a reigon its because the waveform has hit a zero crossing. So you need to do fades (5-10ms) on the edges of the waveform.

For samples i use http://www.bias-inc.com/products/soundsoap/ but i never sample under 192 and going and getting another copy is always a better bet than trying to clean it as this changes the sound slightly of the sample. Other than that soundsoap rox.
