"Scream my Name" is damn annoying, over and over and over! :)

It's partially cause the voice thats saying it is damn annoying.

Percussion is pretty weak, might want to beef it up a little.

Eq'ing is dire need of some work.

Interesting bassline. With a little tweaking that could turn some heads.

There's some zero x clicking issues with some of the samples.

You've gotten farther than most people get, thats a good start. Now take this track and put in another 10 hours of making it sound better. By that I mean, making the EQ correct, and fine tuning everything, till you think it could fit in a set with regular releases.

ATARI beats?

Again, too much with the same dry style on the vocal. Might want to process it a bit more and play it a little less.

That speed garagey bass is too wide, if this were to ever get cut to vinyl, that may cause skipping of the needle. Anything really subbassy has to be mono or it causes skipping.

Your breakdowns are very simple, same build, try something new.

What the fuck kind of post is this? I don't even understand what this means. This isn't critisism, this is bullshit. Who the fuck do you think you are? If you actually had something to say, whether negative or positive, I'd listen, but this is shit. Please don't spit garbage at me unless you have a point.

As for Influenza, I thank you for your input, I go for for the party breaks style, the big bassline style. As for the vocals, I'm using a quite shit sequencer right now, which I'm learning is getting more and more obsolete. What program do use guys use? Ableton? Reason? The vocals, need some tuning, I know this. It's the limitations of my software I promise. I plan on updating as soon as I get the new version of ableton/reason. (But you have to admit, these tracks are pretty good considering I'm using a 5 year old sequencer, (Making Waves) some wav samples, and that's it!) These were rough drafts to show off the style of breaks I produce. The production needs fine tuning, I knew this, like I said these were super rough drafts.

Anyways, cheers for the feedback boys, I'll take everything into consideration and come back with some heavy hitters..

As for Chewy, dude, I've seen your posts, you're a breaks guy, you know your shit, so why the horribly vague post? Please, leave crtisisism, not bullshit.

Cheers.

We're using Logic.

That is completely besides the point, it's not the tool, it's how you use it. I know that lots of huge name producers use lesser programs. It's a matter of learning to manipulate your tool.

I've heard AMAZING things come from both those programs you're using.

I was just giving you some critism, I think thats what you wanted.

soma will become famous soon enough
I listened to this mix again.

The track selection it great, one anthem after another.

like jason said the EQing esppecially in the mid range needs some work I'd mix it again and tighten up some of your cuts. You mixed up a few styles which is not happening amoung many djs these days. kudos for that.
