how do i get gum off vinyl ?

i don't know how the fuck it happened, but after my last set i seem to have gum on two of my new records. i tryed water and a cloth but nothing. so if this has happened to you please help.

well if u get it on clothing..sometimes you can stick it in the freezer..then the gum like freezes and you can just chip it off..

i doubt you'd want to freeze your records...but hey if all else fails..

freeze it,,, use a smooth cloth to scrap it off... a thin material that will still allow you fingernail to scrape the gun off but not damage the record....

PS... when you freeze your record it will become brittle and will shatter easily

You can try soaking your vinyl in water.. not too cold not too hot
