MarcelM is on a distinguished road
Just a few dj´s I recommend:
Hardhouse: Lisa Lashes, Bk, Anne Savage, Paul Glazby ( check out www.tidy.com ) , Ed Real, Nick Sentience

Hard Techno... hmm I don´t listen to this genre,I bet ppcock, firewire or robb peppertre can help you out!
If you are interested in Hardstyle, which is my favorite, check these dj´s out !!:
Dj Pavo, Lady Dana, The Prophet, Zany, Dj Luna, The Darkraver, Dj Promo ( tends to the hardcore style, but he is very good ), Deepack, Dj Duro, Yoji Biomehanika ( Cyberpunk, but he is fucking awesome ).

Download the sensation black sets from 2004, they are all dope, especially the Dj Pavo set , the Dj Luna set and the Darkraver set

Yeah cause Uk hard isn't real (with the exception of anything put out on Shock/Shock style tracks), pffft! Andy Farley's Your Fear rules over any of that shite distorted 909 kick chicago crap, I shudder just thinking about it. Check out http://www.bangingtunes.com/ for all your hard dance needs.

I used to order UK stuff from there 5 + years ago, I order alot of my Acid Techno from there. lol Andy Farley is still around, I used to dig some of his stuff, I think I still have a few of his tracks kicking around from back when the hoover was the big thing.

"Yeah, there we go. Real _FUCKING_ Hard House. To even remotely hint at suggesting that Hard House is some other kind of limp-wristed pussy circus music makes you ridiculously dumb. I mean it: you are really really DUMB for fostering the delusion that Hard House should be anything other than.....HARD. A distorted 909 bassdrum is what you need. And some courses on how to properly focus your anger management, and hopping around pumping your fist in the air. "

-Ishkur

I have to agree with him on this one , by no means am I saying your dumb, I just liked his quote... I still like some UK HH every now and again, I just don't consider it that hard. :)

Some of the people I respect in no particular order.

Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Ritchie Hawtin, Sven Vaeth, Adam Beyer, Z-trip, Knuckles, Liberator, stacey pullen, you can toss Trent Reznor in there too. The one name that has never come to mind is Farley, sorry.
