Postal Service "Take a Look at me now"/ Garden State Soundtrack

I am in love with postal service, and their remix of 'take a look at me now' is amazing. I read that they have come out with or are coming out with a rework of classic hits/putting a PS spin on old hot tracks, does anybody have this CD? I am a huge fan and would run out and get it this second.

Garden State = great movie, great soundtrack, I'd love to see some of the slower songs mixed....kinda like how mark farina mixed Hollar Back Girl, the crowd went off, it was too fun.

"Let go, jump in...cause there is beauty in the breakdown"

Edit: Nev was the one who suggested the idea of mixing "let go", i agreed with her..and am in amour of the entire cd, and would love to see other tracks from the soundtrack like "waiting room" etc. being fucked with.

That's just what I was saying to you a couple wks ago!

I think frou frou's "let go" from garden state would make an amazing drum & bass remix! Such a great song already, but has mighty potential to be mixed with some more tribal beats and stronger basslines. <3 frou frou!

they are both on my ipod already!

i've been taking to ipod to work all the time so my monster cables are usually in the car. easier to pop in a cd then walk ALL THE WAY to my car downstairs.

well, there is a new Verve Remixed compliation and it has a Postal Service remix of a Nina Simone track, which is AMAZING!!!! I totally LOVE these guys two. So based on that, there MAY be a whole album of remixes from them coming *crosses fingers*

I say this anytime there is a post about the garden state soundtrack.
If you liked it, you'll most likely enjoy any song that has been on the scrubs tv show. The scrubs soundtrack is heavily influenced by Zach Braff, the man who made Garden State.
