if it the same guy...i think that a friend of mine gavve me a couple of his cd's.....it is wierd shit. kinda reminds me of math rock. it annoys me somewhat. just when you think he's got a good beat going....he switches it up...arg. hahahaha.....it would be fricken scary on mushrooms.

shift and i checked it out.

sucked big time...he had this live drummer that absolutely sucked and ruined the show.

sound could've been eq'd way better too - disappointing too, especially since the system at sonar can sound absolutely wicked when setup properly.

^ was it Dave Lebleu by any chance? He had his spot on extinguished outtakes and one word extinguisher.. that track on outtakes is awesome with his part. Well being a drummer, i don't think it's epic, but i thought it fit nicely. maybe some people just dont dig it, i dunno. could've been someone else too.

well it sucks that it blew that much though

Yeah, I was definately dissapointed. I heard later that his monitor blew at the begining of the set, but I don't think that really excuses a performace that was quite that sloppy. The drums totally drowned out what Prefuse was doing as well, which is what I was really there for in the first place...
