Can anyone name some places to go check out live shows?
Blues, raggae, rock, jazz, and anything in between. Doesn't have to be mainstream or pounding all the time, something chill would do nice enough.

Check out Ginger 62... I know 1LUV plays there a lot... they're on the afrobeat/jazz/soul tip.

Check out Sekoya's site.. they always post where they are going to play and when.

When dv8 opens again (closed due to fire), Kytami has a night on Wednesdays, featuring different artists each week. My good friend StevenMek plays there quite often, lately he's more on the reggae/dancehall tip, and is working with a REAL reggae emcee on his latest project.
