ACK! Soulseek question! ASAP!

Um, I accidently just downloaded this guys whole directory, when all I wanted is one cd, now there's like 1100 files queued and this guy obviously has no limits on his downloads, and it doesn't look like he's on his comp.

I've tried just about everything when you right click on the file (ban, delete, ignore) and every time I do delete or abort a file another one queues up.

Any way around this? Please help!

Oh PS: I've already deleted the whole directly from the downloads windows which makes it suck even more because now I can't see the next file coming, understand? :(

click on the first file wrongfully queued

hold down the "shift" key

scroll down to the bottom... click on the last file wrongfully queued while holding the shift key then pres "delete" on your keyboard.

OR, if you haven't closed slsk yet, POWER OFF YOUR COMPUTER. don't let the program shut down regularly, then when you reboot, the que's are gone

Well I had done that, what was happening was it kept on attempting to download file after file although i had deleted the queue already. Turns out if I do that slsk sets up an 'upload' folder and uploads the stuff you delete from your queue anyways for some reason. Just had to turn that off. Man, it took me desperatly searching through the slsk forums to figure it out though, over 1300 files queued with no way of unqueing them. Yikes.

Thanks though peeps.

i hope you didn't/don't have your upload setting to 'anyone'

the default is no one, so if you changed it, well then... lol

it's the "auto restart d/l's " setting. it's so even when something fails, you don't have to hit 'retry' everytime
