Ragga Breaks Tracks

Just wondering if anyone knows of any ragga influenced breaks tracks.. right of the top of my head I can think of:

Sean Paul - Gimme The Light - Bootleg
Deekline - Boomblast
Groove Armada - Superstylin Remix
Deekline - Bushpig (Yolanda VIP)
Another Homicide (Freestylers White)
Freestylers/Pendulum - Fasten.. (Kinda)

I dunno, not too much 'new' ragga breaks is there? can anyone else think of any? No breakcore, just some ragga bassline ting seen? :D

Oh yeah, ofcourse most of the freestylers stuff is ragga based, how could I forget? I'm talking like new shit though, like in the last couple of years. There's been lotsa newer ragga d&b but hardly any breaks, I wonder why?

Breaks can = garage huh?

If yer into "garage" i.e. dubstep garage or even some recent GRIME, there's lots to look into if ya like ragga, dub, or dancehall flaved breakbeat tunes. Where else have ya been lookin??!! Heheh. Yer missin out.

Some good stuff to check out from the past 3 years or more:

T.S. Heritage - Bloodclot Entertainment << dubstep garage / Grime producer from Florida, really solid
DJ Hype - Pussy Track (Naughty Recs) << ruff tune!
Darqwan - Cold Symptoms (Texture Recs) - alot of Oris Jay's back catalogue is good, dancehall garage rmx's, past works with Ms. Dynamite, etc.
ZED BIAS (Bingo Beats, Hospital, etc)- can't go wrong, look into him if ya haven't, good vocal productions all'round.
Zinc - some of the vocal garage he does is ok for ragga vibes
Sunship feat. Warrior Queen - Almighty Father (Casual) << recent tune HOT!

HORSE POWER PRODUCTIONS - Gorgon Sound (Tempa Recs)
HORSE POWER PRODUCTIONS - Rude Bwoyz (Tempa Recs )
HORSE POWER PRODUCTIONS - Swindle (Tempa Recs )
HORSE POWER PRODUCTIONS - Logondub (Tempa Recs)
HORSE POWER PRODUCTIONS - Fat Larry's Skank (Tempa Recs)
Benny Ill & Kode 9 - Fat Larry's Skank 12" version (Tempa Recs)
DUBWAR - Murderer Style ( Tempa Recs ) <<< love this tune
DUBWAR - Generations (Tempa Recs)

^^TEMPA Recs has always been the biznez, dubbed out, smoked out beats. Nice. Great catalogue of tunes, old and newer.

Timeblind (Crucial Systems NYC, ShockOut Recs, TigerBeat6,etc.) - does alot of glitch, dub / downtempo, and related sounds too. Good producer.

Check any set from DJ SUBTEK from LA... the don of ragga breakbeat & garage? Stateside maybe. Great stuff in his mixes including some of the names & producers i listed above, tight selector. Oh fuck, here's a couple Subtek mixes while we're here, you'll like em... boh?:

Dj Subtek - "Headburn Heights Mix" 11/02
ragga breakbeat, dancehall, 4x4 garage
run riddim

Dj Subtek - " Dubliminal Minded Vol. 2 Mix" 7/03
ragga breakbeat, dancehall, dubstep & 2step garage
rub chune

can list more...

No "breakcore" mentioned at all mate. All versatile breakbeat chune. For the versatile selector out there.

Wow, I thought "breaks" dj's or fans were a bit more versatile.... i mean, if yer lookin for ragga related stuff and all, let alone straight up breakbeat dancehall tunes... psst.. SUBTEK owns!

A true ragga or breaks fan knows it all goes well in the mix, no matter what the flavour yeah?

Yer bumpin Freestylers tunes, Deekline, and i'm sure Freq Nasty, but no Dj HYPE, or ZedBias atleast?? No Oris Jay - a dj & label owner who spins & releases all styles of breaks, old skool, nu skool, tearout, dubstep or grime??? Strange. Rat Records has garage roots too.

** astonishment : garage does not = "breaks" **

Tsk tsk...

Torment, my man, Rat records is one of my favorite labels, don't get me wrong, you think I dun know. But I do. Oris Jay, Zed bias, neighborhood?! Man, i know my shit cmon now! You've got the wrong idea! I love my garage dude, was BIG time into it for a while. I'm really looking for some newer stuff though, I know 04 was a big year for bootlegs, especially ragga, so just looking for some new shit. I will check out your suggestions though, don't get me wrong, I respect your knowledge of music man.
