Invisible Man Vs. Pearl Jam

So this is a relatively new trance track that mashes PJ's 'Better Man' with the standard epic kick. It's getting lots of play on the European club circuit - but omg, what a bunch of trash! In my mind, all goes well till the pinnacle and then it sounds like a 8 bit Nintendo game with Vedder singing along. Mindtrap pulled off a chunky, albeit somewhat agg prgressive track 'Much Better Man' it in '99 - without much fanfare as far as I can tell, but sadly, being a white label, it's a pain to get now. A remix of the PJ song has so much potential, but we're lacking quality.

If you've heard either, what are your thoughts?

I remember an old trance remix of this tune that was lame and shitty and disappointing... apparently the new remixers haven't had any more success

I bet there's no actual acapella for this tune, which would explain the lack of creative uses the vocals could be put to

heard sasha playing the 99 "much better man " version and i thought it was realy good at the time but that was when that track came out and my memories from that time are a bit blurred. the tune was probably shit and i was just off ma head :)

/\ I have that '99 version on vinyl! it is WICKED!!!

I saw this new version you are talking about the other day and bought it, without listening to it, thinking it would be as good or better than the 1999 version... but nope... my feelings are the same... meh.

That is the mind trap remix, tanagila also used this mix quite a bit.

I play it only on special occasions and as cheesey as it is...

I have never had anything up a huge reponse of it.
