Buying decks one at a time

I could get Two Numark tt200's or One Numark tt500 with a DM1050 mixer for the same price right now.

I'd much rather have the 500's for the torque and other enhancements, so is it a good or bad idea to get one deck at a time (hopefully getting the second tt500 within a month or two after)

Any thoughts?

the basic DJ setup

2 turntables
1 mixer

take out any of those and you're left with.....well, i won't be a wiseass.

You need all three.

Oh I totally know but just I guess I left out some info..

I'm gonna be learnin some scratches and I don't mind doing this over tracks ona discman into the mixer or so.. Strictly for learning untill I get the other deck, then I can take it out..

oh

then get the mixer and table, since you can practice your crossfade scratching and it's the table you want.

pretty easy decision.
