House Music Fans:

Please help me out:
My favorite house right now is pretty fast electronish tech house.... It may not sound very helpful the way I described it, so here are a few dj´s I like.
Anders Trentemoller
Tiefschwarz
Alex Neri
Tiga
Steve Angello
Dj Vincenzo

Or anything you find on www.dance-tunes.com ( id-t mp3 site ) under tech house

If you know any other dj´s, songs, or sources, please let me know.
Thanx !!!

Steve Angello and some other dude are on next week's Essential Mix on BBC Radio, according to Tongy on the last one. I'm willing to check it out.

For some local action, check out Dave Armstrong. He's been working a lot with people like Steve Angello and Eric Prydz.

Junior Jack has always been fun, as has Olav Basoski.

As for Tiga-type stuff check out everything on the DFA label. Especially LCD Soundsystem and The Rapture for more of a rock-edge to it.

Josh Wink's Hear Here album is pretty glorious for acid-house type stuff too.

Tiga's DJ Kicks mix is pretty stellar for Electrohouse type stuff.

You'll also dig, most likely:

Freestylers - Push Up
Chromeo - Needy Girl
Chromeo - You're So Gangsta
Mylo - Destroy Rock & Roll (Tom Neville Remix)
Mylo - Drop The Pressure
Super Discount 2 - Fast Track
Fischerspooner - Just Let Go (Thin White Duke Remix)
Starsailor - Four To The Floor (Thin White Duke Remix)

Actually, to see the trancier edge of Electroclash (who knew such a thing existed) check out any one of Thin White Duke's remixen. They're pretty good depending on the original material (His Mr. Brightside remix is a bit painful, but I never liked that song anyways). That Four To The Floor mix took me a while to get into at first, but goddamnit it's good.

For local DJ's I sugest; RC Lair, Shift, Timeline, and Rev... try Akeel too. They should know their electro/tech pretty well.

I wish I could sugest some more producers etc, however I do know that Axwell came up with a new track thats smoking the electro beats (sorry forgot the name of th etune :()

yeah axwell can get techy at times.
"feel the vibe" had nice tech influences.
he did a remix with Sebastian Ingrosso for "dark side of the moon". that's techy too.
"hard beat" too

Discovery-era, most definately. The last album's a bit "not so much" but it's got some fun loops on there.

And Homework is always classic. Revolution 909 will forever be one of my favourite tracks of all time.

Push Up is like funky breaks, except house-y... I love electroclash... it's fusing together so much of different styles of music and making it sound good. Fischerspooner rox my world.

Also, Felix Da Housecat and Linus Loves.

Rex The Dog has been my favourite artist to come out in the last couple of years. His Photographic remix, and the single Frequency are both fucking choice.
