From what I understand the soundtrack doesn't actually have any of the 80s songs that were so good on it.... The following songs are the wicked-ass tunes they didn't put in there (it's mostly scoring and that cover...):

Echo & The Bunnymen - The Killing Moon
Tears For Fears - Head Over Heels
Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
The Church - Under the Milky Way

There's probably a couple of others, but those are the ones I'm remembering right now.

And the Director's Cut (which _I_ own) opens with INXS - Never Tear Us Apart instead of the Echo & The Bunnymen track.

I heard this song on CSI too and was like I loooove this song, what is it from it's so familiar, so haunting. I thought OC, but yes, Donnie Darko is right. Love that movie. <3

I had goosebumps when I heard that song on without a trace last season.
Had to d/l like 3 different versions of it.
Another good from from without a trace was 'fire sign' by david berkeley.
