Not enough jungle?

I know u guys often complain about not enought jungle/dnb in the scene. Just curious who would you guys like to see. Keep in mind it willl be a tight intimate party will 2rooms at max. Cant wait to hear your thoughts

bribe some local non-jungle/dNB disk jockys to start spinning the jungle/dNB and i bet they'll never go back to their trance tracks, not if trance isn't good, just in small doses, really small doses, and only when it doesn't all sound the same, starts out slow, speeds up, a plateau of sound, and then it's back through the vicious cycle again. trance is meant for people on e, as it's very similar to how they trip....upppp.....dowwwn.....

The best dnb shows I've seen in the last few years in this city were from teebee and high contrast, who are both probably really expensive and probably not coming back for awhile.


but uhh, you can really throw a rock and hit a pretty good dnb dj in this city, so my vote goes with sticking with some solid local heros.

I think psidream should play. It's a shame that he is known around the world, but hardly gets a chance to play dnb out to a decent sized crowd in Vancouver.

The only significant DJ info I know about him is that apparently he learned how to spin from his bro Mister Parker, who won some DJ competitions (like heineken thirst or something) and built a name for himself there.

@ Myra, i think teebee these days is playing more of a darker neurofunk sound.
@ Bevan, Chase & Status!!! hell yeh! Glad someone noticed them. There mixes are pure fire. Can't get enough, that shit is always in rotation in my car.

Calyx is also up there in my books. Always has the hot tracks.

So why would all the other DJ's be spinning trance? what about techno? house, hardcore, hardstyle, GettoTech?

Oh yea, and from you say about trance does not seam you've ever heard trance at party yet. Euro-Trance is at the far edge of trance, almost no longer a part of gener. Heck I'd can some trance that would make most E-Tard cry.

What are you talking about... Almost all of smaller parties aimed for younger people are packed with Jungle. You better look a lot harder.
