ya i do that mostly when recording 'n stuff.. if u spot it quick then is good...
but im not too great at that, usually i dont *tweak* enough, trying to pitch mix until im like sheeeit and then u hear my grimy paw on the track.. hehe :375:

i'd just call it "mixing".
however way you tweak your sound so it doesn't sound like shit falls into the same category, whether you ride the platter with your fingers, use pitch or tweak the spindle.

^umm... ok. you want to beatmatch with one hand, not tweak the spindle and not touch the record? wtf? that's impossible dude. thats just fiddling with the pitch control. and if you do that, then the crowd can hear when you fix it because the pitch will have to go down lower to catch up with the record then back to normal.
