Recommend Some Good "Non-Electronic" Songs?

Well, I'm taking part in DJing at a dance with "non-rave" ppl in a couple of weeks.


I need some advice on good tracks to play. Looking at the Top40, Pop, Hip-Hop, Rock and some dancey type stuff. I'm pretty much covered for 2004-2005 releases.

Can any of you guys recommend some good tracks that have been released in the last 5-6 years?

De La Soul - The Grind Date ... 2004 effort from the classic LI boys
thought provoking hip hop with pop appeal cuz its just that fresh
