new live-pa promo vid
http://lfo.fsck.org/~drew/mux_-_The_...-Min_Video.wmv <- Windows
http://lfo.fsck.org/~drew/mux_-_The_...-Min_Video.mov <- Mac Eight minutes, 31 megs, 320x240. Hooray for modern video compression! This is the eight-minute "executive version" of a 40-minute video shot at The Listening Room 2005 in the Vancouver Planetarium. I may end up putting the full version online, but if I do it'll likely be with a bittorrent tracker. Thanks to Russ and Ernst for manning the cameras and helping out hella with the editing... |

Spectacular performance.
Trainspotting: tb303. an200, virus modular, sh 101, ?? Not many live PA's these days, wouldn't mind seeing some more festivals and outdoor parties. Its too bad the cops in Vancouver are such dickheads and won't allow people to express music creativity in public. Of course that is a belief system, we all know the cops smoke up what they seize. |

Here's a pic... actually, this is different from the show, 'cause I just finished building the x0xb0x this month, and it's immediately found its way into my live rig 'cause it's JUST SO AWESOME!@!! Here's a pic of the current live rig: http://mux.ca/images/20051013_liverig.jpg (more pics at http://mux.ca, of course) |

Damn, took long enough. I uploaded it to video.google.com a week ago, it got "verified" within about five hours, then took them a week to make it "live".
Here's the 40-minute version, the whole concert. The footage is generally pretty great, 'cause there was at least two cameras going at all times... but that being said, one of the camera guys was rolled off his ass, so some of it is a little shaky, lol! http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...85821695688176 Also, I'll be playing in the Lick room at the Lotus Long Weekend this Thursday, come down and check it out. If we haven't met before, track me down and introduce yourself. :) I don't know yet when my set is exactly, but Ricardo Almeida and Mile36 are also doing live-pa's, so if you're feeling the live-pa, come drink some beer and support the local scene. PS: I decided earlier tonight... I'm not playing any new tracks at the Lotus show. I've been working hella on three new ones (like, 20+ hours this past weekend), but have been stressing myself out working on them and they're just not ready for live yet, so I'mma just play my current shit (with a bunch of new twists) and have fun instead of being all stressed. It's Trevor SonOfJacob's and LittleJon's birthdays, so I'mma play some techno, get wrecked, and party until Saturday! :P PPS: if you want a better-quality copy of that video, come to the Lotus and ask me for one on CD. :) |
