ASAP!:Where can I get High End Speakers in Coquitlam?

Hi, I'm looking for the best quality speakers, Money is not an issue. Must be at least 1.2 m high and 43kg in weight. Can anyone point me into the right direction on finding something along these lines. Coquitlam area is ideal, but I will check out other places if necessary.
I need a reply ASAP! Thanx!

To give an idea what I might want it for, I mean if I didn't put that in there then maybe you might assume I'm looking for something small i.e. for a car... which I am not.
Another reason why... maybe I busted speakers of that size and weight and need to replace them...
Another reason for you, maybe because I know exactly what I want...
I dont understand why this is confusing to you.

ok, but the part of speakers that matters is the specs of the drivers. you can pay anywhere from $50 to $30,000 on a pair of speakers, depending on who makes them and how they're made.

if you broke a set of speakers that size and weight, why not look at the back of the speakers, get the manufacturer's name and model number, then google for them? If you have that info and call around to hifi shops, they'll likely be able to hook you up... even more likely if you say you'd also accept other makes and models similar to those.

It's confusing to me because the size and weight of speakers doesn't matter at all, the only thing that matters is how they sound. Buying speakers by size and weight is like buying a car by the taste of the upholstery.

Okay so lets just say I want to pay $30,000 on a pair of speakers. I saw some of that size and weight somewhere a while ago didn't catch the name, liked the sound and decided now that I have the money I want to buy something along those lines, I know nothing about it and don't care how much I spend. I just want quality and sound. Do you know where I can check those out? All I'm asking is where to find them. Can you help me out?, or were you just trying to make your self look cool by ridiculing my question?

I'm not ridiculing your question to look cool, it was a dumb question.

I gave you helpful advice above: find out the model # of the speakers you broke, and call all the stores you find in the yellow pages under "home audio".

Better you be laughed at on a stupid rave forum on the internet than taken to the cleaners by a grinning sales guy. Go to some home electronics stores like A&B Sound, look at what they've got. Do you have an amplifier? Do you know what wattage it outputs? Too big an amp on not-big-enough speakers means blown speakers; too small an amp on too big speakers means shitty sound.

Buying home stereos - especially speakers - without knowing in advance what you want, is a really, really, really easy to get ripped off. Seriously, spending thousands on what is essentially a wooden box, a magnet and a paper cone... bring someone along with you who knows what they're doing, and ignore everything the salesguys tell you, just trust your ears.

There, now do I look cool?

Let me rephrase the question. I need a names of stores where I can buy high end speakers. Somewhere that specializes in speakers. A place where all they do is build speakers. NOT A&B sounds, NOT future shop, NOT best buy. I had Lascala as a suggestion, but I cant find it anywhere, I think the spelling is incorrect...

P.S. I'm looking for homeaudio speakers

To be honest, I'm not buying these speakers. It was a hypothetical question. I have to do a walk about for my Marketing class, and get information on sales of a specialized speaker manufactuer and the sales of generic future shop type speaker. Kinda confusing, but thats why I asked the question. I figured there would be a few people on this site that might now a lot about that kind of equipment. I'm sure a bunch of you who throw parties have to have access to the top of the line speakers.

hell no, we have access to loud speakers. the less they weigh, the better.

why didn't you just ask your question, instead of trying to get what you want through lies and deception?

OH. right. marketing. duh.

Well lets be honest if my thread name started with, "I need homework help" Many would ignor and mutter, "if you need help why don't you get an effing tutor?"
This being said, other than Tom Lee, do you have any suggestions, you seem to know lots on this topic.

Because that's what they teach in marketing: deception isn't lying.
