right channel quiet?

so when observing my level meters the left side is louder then the right. Also I can't seem to get sound to come out of the right monitors wether in my headphones or outside.

help?

could be your needles or your contacts. Try licking the contacts? A lot the time the unbalanced signal, if it's in both your speakers and your headphones is a result of the contacts not touching properly in the tone arm.

thats what I thought. I thought I did that but i'll give it another whirl.

Could be any number of things...start with the tonearm and work your way down the line.

1. contact in needle
2. rca from the turntable
3. inputs on your mixer
4. outputs on your mixer

chances are its your needles...its the most likely thing.

Terrence i'm unbelievably disappointed in you.

Never lick your contacts in your needle...this will cause nasty ass fungus to eventually grow in your tone arm over time...clean them with alcohol if you ever have to do this in an emergency.
