DJ stands?

I've been looking to buy a DJ stand for a while now, but can't bring myself to fork out the hundreds of dollars it costs for the stand I want (the Sefour X30).

Does anyone know of a good place to get one built, or have of a good design blueprint? It needs to hold the usual, but I'd also like to have some record storage as well.

Please help... I'm desperate!

I think theres some guys selling custom stands and stuff on the little bulletin board thing at boomtown...??

I was looking for the same kinda thing... so for now, I bought a 50$ table top from Ikea with some telescopic adjustable legs. All in all cost under 100$ and does the trick..

from the days of the ol vestax :)

Yeah, found mine last week straight outta the 'as is' section of ikea. Used to be part of a bigger.. computer desk maybe? Anyways, this thing is pimp, perfect height, and has 2 metal magazine racks built in (perfect for records)! I was like, holy shit, that right there is a DJ stand... and bought it spontianiously.

You lucked out bassline! I'm always checking stores like Ikea and other furniture stores, but never find anything. I'm using an old Wal-Mart entertainment centre right now, but it needs to go.

Hey marcel,

this is the stand me and my mate craig made.

just use MDF wood if you guys have that over there. make sure its at least 18mm thick then work out what size you want it to be then get the sheets cut to size. drill and screw it together ,add corner brackets and a bit of hard board on the back to suport it .

and there ya go.

Actually, to tell you the truth, I have one for sale! It's made for 2 12's and a decent sized mixer. No shelves in it but could be added easily. Super sturdy and strong (and heavy)

$20 takes it. You'll have to pick it up from Poco though.
Let me know if you're interested. It's at my dad's place so I'll have to let him know ahead of time..
