F&K internet radio?

With the help of one of the sites members f'n'k is thinking about starting a weekly online radio brodcast. This is just a poll to gather some thoughts and ideas so please feel free to leave a message below.


Quick facts of radio features

• -We won't play every week (maybe once a month, if that)
• -Sets by upcoming dj's and established dj's
• -Hardhouse,trance,breaks,speed garage,2-step, funky house and disco house
• -Free stuff & news around town
• -Decent quality audio
• -Party news and event information

but since it's a thing that includes up-coming djs...will that include jungle? or will it specified to the genres you stated?

Starfish.... as for once a month.... what I meant was that we (dj form and dj kaos) would not be hoggin the airtime. We'd have old resident dj's from woot playing and also be showcasing any demos that we receive which we feel would be suitable for the program. :)

Sounds like a good idea.

Im taking Radio Broadcasting at BCIT and i think u mite have to be careful tho cuz im pretty sure theres ALOT of CRTC rules and stuff u have to follow etc. Not positive if you do if its online.

one thing tho, i think it should be more often than once a month. maybe once a week would be better...

and i would LOVE to spin a set. i'll get a demo as soon as i get a big enough hard drive to record it...

CRTC rules do not apply but Internet broadcasting rules do apply. Those rules are:

1. You may not publish your program schedule of what to play
2. You may not repeat a released work only your own mix of music from different compliations
3. You may not play another compliation from start to end.

Thats about the gist of it. :)

I'm just completing the final installation/testing of all the software and am preparing for a pilot airing by this weekend. It'll most likely be this Sunday, April 14th at 7:00pm PST...Confirmation by Saturday.


Easy listening instructions:

- Select a player (Winamp, Real One, Winmedia or other)
