David's been in business for like 8 years now, so despite the fact that everyone complains about his prices.... he must be on to something.
And he's far from stupid, one of the most musically knowledgable people i've spoken too. He probably doesn't know much about trance but he knows how much people will pay for records. |

well i can tell u that that guy is smart because, he just bought the rest of hipnotiks old vinyl from us for super cheap (basically because it had been sititng in my buddys garage, dooing fuck all) and alot of it was old shitty house and trance and was basically telling us that he was gona resell it for 5 times profit. So just like last time we sold a bunch of shit to him and pp made a post about finding good trance there, the so called (twisted acid trance) was porbably bought from us for 1 to 2 dollars a record...
and to akeel who had left me a few messages awhile back about looking through our old stuff, i apologize for not returning youre call but there was next to nothing as far as breaks was concerned mostly really bad 2 step. edit.. he actually gave us a credit for other records since he had so much good old funk at his shop so they probably cost him even less |

Any vinyl I get I record to MP3 now. Most electronic music can be downloaded direct from the label's site for cheap anyways. I don't mind paying a dollar or two for two full length tracks that I'd have to pay $10+ for. But I'm in a few CD pools so I get most of the new stuff anyways...vinyl is rediculously priced. Record shops know DJs have cash to spend, and to get the latest you pay top coin.
Let's face it, it's not just Vinyl, it's ALL record shops. |

since djing was built on the feel of vinyl, it ca't really be replaced and still be the same. That's why there is FS and Serato right now |
