Editing samples in Cubase?
Can somebody explain how you manipulate samples/synths in cubase ?
Has somethin to do with the quantize feature? Also how do you use waves plugin to manipulate sounds? I know I could look in the help but this is easier and you generally get more useful insight. |

Those are very large questions.
yes, you can import audio, slice it, dice it, loop it, stretch it. Quantizing helps align MIDI to selected points; some people use it to offset latency you might experience when using computers and MIDI instruments. Adding a Waves plug-in into your channel insert slots will allow you to manipulate sounds, but you need reasons and a goal. Random might work, but you should read up on Plug-ins, and explore the Cubase help section; which actually will tell you about using plug-ins.... Ummmm....RTFM |

so quantizing just helps with alignin points in sequence? I thought somebody told me it was used to manipulate sounds.
I was playin around with waves and I couldn't really figure it out that's why I asked on here to see if somebody could briefly explain how to use it. reasons and goals?! to make cooler sounds than stock. hah RTFM.. thanks for no help. |
