FireWire will become famous soon enough
Wow man, that Edirol midi looks like it has some SERIOUS functions! And you told to me earlier that it feels solid and weighs quite a bit - so that makes it even better. Have you figured out how to use it with Reason yet?

I got the BFR2000 recently. Not a bad bit of kit, but there's already one LED not working on it... I don't expect any Behringer gear to last that long, but I mean, *man*, I haven't even gigged with it once yet!

It's a pretty cool mixer replacement, tho.

meh I dunno at first I was thinking maybe just getting the evolution uc33e has like 24 knobs and 12 faders I think.... but after seeing that behringer I think that is really the only missing puzzle...

my buddy who's takin recording arts was told by one of his profs that people constantly bring him their behringer stuff for repairs...
might be better off with the uc33e man.. extra functions don't go far if the machine is broke.

I have a Juno-60. ;)

(used to have the Alpha Juno-2. *never* should have sold it. Stupid! Stupid!)

Also got a TR-505, TR-707, JP-8080... I prefer "old Roland", the newer stuff bugs me somehow. The simple fact that they reuse the "909", "808", "303" and "Juno" names just for marketing purposes - I mean, I'm not saying they aren't good machines on their own, but why reuse a name just to confuse people and make them think they're buying that "303" they've heard so much about? Lame.

thats some crazy shit.... I've seen pics how your studio has evolved... must be tens of thousands of dollars invested within that whole period for ya.... Having analog hardware must be nice in a sense however 1. expensive as hell. 2. large/heavy equipment to be wheeling around..... meh what ever works..... dj's are overrated nowdays...
