Drum n bass meet?

I dunno if something like this could be organized.. but I've been on this board for a while and haven't really met any drum n bass/breaks peeps on here. (Probably my fault)

So.. uhm, what do all the drum n bass peeps feel about a meet.. well not really a meet, more like an excuse for ALL the drum n bass peeps to drink, meet the newbies, talk jungle, play some choons, etc.

I'm gonna see what kind of response I get for this. I have a more than decent sized apartment complete with decks, cdj, computer, full bar, etc ready to host something like this..

I know a bit lame, BUT a great way to meet everyone in the drum n bass ting have some drinks and shoot the shit, network, etc.

Everyone who likes, djs, or produces d&b would be invited ofcourse (within reason)

I'll post this on nwdnb as well. I'm thinking maybe.. in late feb? Let me know whatch'all think? :)

nwdnb usually has an annual bbq, but that's usually in the summer.

hey bassline...its called the lotus on tuesdays and the met on fridays then my jungle on saturdays and then any of the one offs.

i have made long lasting relationships w/people ive met at the clubs *shrugs*

Aight aight, not too bad of a response so far :D ..

BBQ would be great if I had a balcony haha, but as carlos said, dead animals would be cool (gonna try and sort out a hibachi (sp?) ?) food ofcourse would be there! all kinds of stuff.

I got a full bar too (bring your own booze ofcourse!) but yeah, I gots shakers and shit (if you don't want beer) Uhm, we could record full sets live str8 to comp/cd, big sound, lots of couches & seating, wicked view of coal harbour/lost lagoon, PS2 (sorry no super nintendo) w/ tiger woods, madden, need4speed, vice city, even bust-a-move!

I'll set a date in the next couple of days.. it would be great to see all you peeps out here!

(BTW, i'm in the west end.. hope that's okay for everyone)

More of a response needed though, just making sure it's worth organizing :)
