I think one of the funniest things I did with my tracks was in like '98 when I gave a DJ a tommies (yeah, the nightclub in maple ridge) a copy of one of my speed garage tracks, and the guy dropped it at like peak hour on a Saturday night when I was there. Me, being young at the time totally thought that was the shit! Had like, 50 people bussin it to my tune, heh! Now I look back and think ugh god.. tommies.. why tommies.

I guess it was cool back then, seeing people dance to my choons (especially speed garage at a top40 club!) Makes we wanna dig around and see if I can find a couple of those old tracks..

I know tons of folks on here have their tracks played out all the time now, but I'm talking like the very first time.. Anyone have any similar experiences?

AFAIK, my tunes have never been played at a club unless I was playing 'em.

i used to make hip hop beats for a few mcs in my high school, and they put on a little show at the leigon in new west. i was like 16, so seeing a floor of people get jiggy to my beats was like losing my virginity again. awesome feeling.
