only way i've heard that *might* work is to get 2 plates of glass, put the record in between them and leave it out in the sun. Never tried it tho cause I'm sure it could lead to disatrous results if you leave it out for too long.
I stupidly left a (brand new) record right by my heater for like a week :-\ warped to hell. |

yeah...that could work but i dont really wanna risk it
i got it at the louis logic concert and he signed it.....so i dont really wanna fuck with it too much it's not warped too bad but there's like a little bend at one part....and it skips it everytime right until like half way through the second song (the song i wanna play) oh well i'll try some things carefully......if nothin works it's still a good souvenir |

yeah well in the autograph message it says "play this shit" and some other stuff so I'd like to play it
I actually thought of my own method.....i put tin foil over the record and ran an iron over it for like 2 seconds and got it hot....then i just bent it back slightly with my hand to even it out.....and it kinda worked....I dont really wanna fuck with it any more but the song is playable now so it's cool |

This worked for me on Friday:
Heat your oven to 200 F. Put record between two regular slipmats on a pizza pan. Place a heavy weight on top of that. Note the weight has to be evenly distributed over the surface of the record or you'll just flatten the part of the record directly underneath the weight. Leave it in the oven for 4-5 minutes (depends on the oven). The record should be unwarped. PS- this is why I now rip all my vinyl to mp3 and cdr. Nothing worse than wanting to play a record and finding it warped and unplayable. |
