Congrats Krafty Kuts - Best DJ for the 2nd year in a row!

Congrats to Krafty Kuts for winning the "BEST DJ" title for the second year in a row at the 5th International Breakbeat awards on February 23rd.

Props as well to Atomic Hooligan for best album with You Are Here, Fingerlickin for the best Breaks label and The Plump DJ's for best producer.

In addition to that title, Krafty is now officially sponsored by Pioneer and he's been outfitted with a prototype Pioneer DJM 800! (Lucky bastard).

Some other news is that Krafty's new album is fully complete so stay tuned for further details on that. He's also just completed a fresh new jam alongside Tim Deluxe which is being charted by The Plumps and Stanton Warriors -- no doubt we will hear it on April 1st when Dom plays at Richards on Richards.

Did you guys hear what the plump djs said on Annie? They are pretty much sick of all the same people winning. They said there is so much more talent out there than these big names in breaks. Also stated that it's ruining the breakspoll because of the fact you can pretty much tell who's going to win what.

They don't want to win anymore more awards.

Agreed, what's the point of having an award that continues to recognise the same people year after year. My vote for next year's "outstanding contribution to breaks" is Rennie Pilgrem ;)
