I was handing out a bunch of copies of this CD last night at believe for Farshad, and I figured I'd make a post about it to try and garner some discussion on it.

My bias will be showing (the guy is one of my best friends) but i have to say that this has got to be one of the most exciting mix cds to come out of the vancouver underground in ages. Farshad Abasi has been DJing in Vancouver for a decade or so and is one of the nicest and most genuine people in the scene. earlier this year he released a mix cd that he had been literally working on for nearly half a year. professional cover art and design and music loaded up with some of the best electro from Hashim to Tiga, styling house music from Hardfloor to the Gorillaz. And while Abasi has built a slight reputation of not being the most technically skilled of djs, every single mix on here is absolutely flawless.

From the funky fun music of new and old, to the insane cover art featuring Eatery T-shirts and stylized colours, this cd will be the pride of anybody's EDM collection. So talk to your friend who knows a guy who knows a guy and get your copy if you haven't already!
