Have you guys seen this site yet? A friend sent it to me a few days ago. You enter the name of a band/group/artist you like and it finds other bands/groups/artists with similar styles, lets you listen to a song or two, etc. Pretty cool.

it's ok if you like mainstream music.
I put in dancehall artists like "Lady saw" or "Bounty Killer" and within a couple tracks it was giving me fuckin 50 cent and Lil Bow Wow. WTF? Same goes for drumnbass...it rapidly degenerates into clubby housey shit or crappy elevator music.

My Boyfriend showed me this site, and I wasnt all that thrilled with it once I got into it....Seems like a good idea at first...but I pretty much had all the music they were playing anyways, It was nice that they put it in a playlist for me though!

yeah i found a lot of non-top 40 tracks. i think this is more focussed at people who don't know a lot of different artists, and helping them find some. if you're looking for something specific, it's probably not for you until they expand their database. i didn't search any electronic music. still kinda neat though.
