No man, Crown Royal has got to be the best Run DMC album ever. It doesn't show a new side to them by any means because they have done the whole rock/rap thing. ie. King Of Rock. What makes it so good is the that they have stayed true to their roots and have had continued success with the same basic formula they started out with. In this regard, they are much like the Beastie Boys, who also keep the same basic formula. And everyone likes the Beastie Boys.
To further drive home the point, Look at Maestro Fresh Wes, Q-Tip and even Busta Rhymes........... most of the stuff they are coming out with now is pure, unadulterated crap. I think that many others share my opinion. -Dwight:Somatic:
