So, I've been sitting here tweaking and adjusting this song in Cubase SX2 for like the last 3 hours; maybe because my introduction is less than stellar, the filtered sweep is just not crunchy enough.
I just want to quit and give up.

Then a revelation; I have a distorted bass sweep that might works for the intro.
All of a sudden, its like hearing the track for the first time. The new intro is exactly what I want, it just couldn't sound any better.

And I realize, that you can enjoy music forever.
