Songs or artists/bands that you grew up listening to

As the topic says....

Which artists/band or song did you grow up with and have always had that song stuck in your head and/or band that you still listen to today?

Songs:
Phil Collins - I wish it would rain down
Phil Collins - One more night
(Used to sing those songs constantly as a kid... never got tired of em)

Bands:
Pink Floyd
Queen

thats all I can think of now...

FireWire will become famous soon enough
I was such an electronica head since the age of - as far as I can remember - that I don't even have any mainstream rock or pop bands I used to listen to. I grew up mostly with eurodance and cheesy techno groups:

2 Unlimited
Ace of Base
Alphabase
Culture Beat
Dr. Alban
E-Type
First Base
Fun Factory
La Bouche
Magic Affair
Maxx
Music Instructor
Real McCoy
Scatman John
Snap!
Solid Base
The Free
U96

haha

Oh God... Where do I start?

The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Led Zeppelin, The Doobie Brothers, Boston, Billy Idol, Supertramp, Bob Marley, The Doors, John Lennon, Frank Zappa, Tom Petty, Janis Joplin, Cream, Eric Clapton, Queen, Hendrix...
I could go on. Music was a big part in growing up for me. My parents had a huge impact on what I listen to now. I can remember running around the house to Money by Pink Floyd when I was like 3. I'm so glad I had that.

Fuck yeah.. Thriller was one of my favourite albums growing up and still is.

And throw Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, and The Crystal Method on my list.

I didn't get into the Pumpkins until the turn of the century, sadly.
