I got my M3ds at cost Before I knew a thing about djing I had to wait 6 months for them bc they were on backorder. If I ordered the Mk2s which were the same price I couldve walked away with them the day I ordered.
Pretty much all bout the looks..

just get mk2's

i have the m3d's and after using thousands of mk2's, the main different is the reset button... which u dont really need. so save money and buy mk2's.

well there the same price now @ bassix

from my experience the pitch control is a lot more sensitive on the m3ds than it is on the mk2s......and on the pitch adjustment the m3d's dont have the "click" @ 0 pitch.......to make a good decision u should decide depending on how u mix.....if u like the click and a little "give" on the pitch go with the mk2s, if u want the quickest response go with the m3d's

Ok, I was reading all these posts and thinking..

jesus guys, dont you know your own gear?

Then I saw Omega's post.. M3D's are WAY more sensative and accurate. Did everyone not notice the non-click in the m3d's which makes for much easier 'pitch slide' mixing (i called it that for a lack of a better term) or i could have called it 'no finger mixing' ? heh heh i dunno.

M3D's are worth the extra bit of cash.

Way more? not really, it's more sensative, more accurate, but not an incredeble deal.

It's really hard to notice the differnace for most people... cause it's not a major thing....

I knew they were more sensitive and accurate thats why i bought em. But it doesnt make that much of a difference. i would be just as happy with a pair of mkII's

It's all a preference.

I dont like the click of the m2k.

I'd pay $50 more. not to have it click. =)

chances are, you wont be playing both tracks at +6 or higher, so if u ARE playing one at +6, fuck around with the other pitch

i dont like using the reset button technique

the sudden change in pitch sounds SO bad
i'd rather have a 100% smooth mix only depending on my touch on the record or the wheel

NO IT'S NOT!

Only if you buy shit from bassix. If you go to any store cept, tom lee and bassix, the mk2 is 600, whereas the mk3 is 750
