lions will be playing winnipeg on the same night at bc place stadium.... Who ever gave you that information about bc place stadium is full of shit..... There is no vancouver rave promoter that has the funds to throw an event at bc place stadium.... I mean the cost to lease that thing for 24 hours along is approx 30,000 to 40,000 dollars.... let alone the security you'd have to hire as well as the massive audio equipment and then your headliners.....

solid, evolve, and twisted all have more than enough money to do events at bc place stadium... except vancouver city hall does not permit legal raves there

and these promoters only do legal raves under permits from the city at venues the city allows...

oh no..... your using names of promoters that EVERYBODY knows...!!!! wow that must make you feel like you know somebody...... come on if twisted managed to get the aquarium (party cancelled because of low ticket prices) then DON'T tell me that can't get bc place stadium.... Because if your trying to tell me that the city would block a facility that is used for sporting events/ conventions where its not a tourist destination.... yet the aquarium is then there is something wrong with this picture isn't it.... What is all comes down is money.... You don't have the bills then forget about it....

Most stadiums, like the coliseum, have a Union involved. You need to cover all their wages, as well as the in house security and food/vending. Everything is under contract.

And I highly doubt, that BC place is cheaper than the Coliseum.

lol never said it was cheaper then the coliseum..... ok ok so bc place BASIC cost is probably around there and ya your right about other charges and stuff.... BUT!!!!! Either way its WAY to expsensive for any promoter to throw an event.... I can only imagine the price of tickets that would turn alot of people away...

Meh - they haven't turned away from the coliseum yet. The ticket prices would be roughly the same.

You have no idea what kind of money any of the promoters in this city are sitting on. You really need to stop being a know-it-all.
