I don't think she was shaving her head for a cancer fundraiser. She had to shave her head herself because the stylist wouldn't do it for her. Would a stylist refuse to help someone do something for a good cause? Probably not.

The comparison to MJ actually made me sad. I could never imagine going through something in such a public spectrum. People are so enclined to make fun of her, but how the fuck is that helping anything? Sure it gives the masses their 3.99$ chuckle via Star mag. but how is it making her situation better??? I know it's clique to say, and making fun of clebs makes people feel better, but she is person, and even if she may not realize it herself, she still deserves to be treated like one.
I guess the school girl days are over, but i still don't want to see britney become the next anna nicole. They need a SAVE BRITNEY concert or something

I don't understand the whole fuss about her shaving her head.... like someone said it can be a lost bet..... donating her hair to cancer research..... Most celebrities donate to various research developement organizations and what not. Could be due to the fact that maybe she contracted lice? Keep in mind she does have a kid and kid's normally pick up lice easily.. It could be also that she shaved her head for an up coming movie that she'll be in.... (Maybe GI Jane 2???). Or it can be a tactic to have the media and what not to have there one last shot photograph of her since her big change only for them to move on to someone else since they like to portray "beauty" since apparently this world is perfect. Regardless it seems like the media is in fear that her hair will not grow back now....

Then she'll pop out about an album every three to five years over the next 40 years to satiate her Anne Murray like following. Count down to her cover of "Black Or White." It's coming.

I've never been a fan of Britney; in fact I've quite often said she's a talentless fraud.
Right now she's one person that I don't think I could feel sorrier for. Everything she's been pulling in the last couple of months is a cry for help that no one is listening to. Right now she's in the process of a mental breakdown. Apparently her mom's just flown in from Louisiana for her. If no one else, her mom has always been her stable influence, and I hope that her mom will take the initiative and get her straightened out.

but in terms of the "SAVE BRITNEY" concert, she really doesn't have much talent anyway.
The only time she's sounded good has been when Jaques Lu Conts (I probably didn't spell that right) gotten his hands on her voice and had a field day with it... She's good at sounding trampy, but that's just about it. It's the reason why I prefere Christina to Britney
