awww..when my frog shed..i thought there was a thing in its small aquarium...turtle's shed too...kinda freaky because it's like their shell is coming off~

what kind of frogs do you have??

it is very gross to see thier dead skin floating around in the tank. i like it when the filter sucks it up.

i think a shedding turtle would be kinda freaky....

it is very freaky when a tranchula (sp??) sheds because it comes right out of it's skin and it looks like there are two of the buggers in the tank.

i used to chase my friends around with the skin of our newly shedded tarantula.

dave saved the skin and it fell outta the box which was sitting on the tv stand right beside my basket of fresh, clean clothes and landed right in the basket. when i saw the skin i thought that it was the spider and i was very scared.

i used to have a bufo marinus (Sp?) toad...it was fun to watch...and get this...it was the kind of toad that would get you high!!

what we did was squeezed its glands, and then the poison comes out...we then scraped it off with a spoon, and (don't ask me why) we put it on some toast...it tasted like poison...it wasn't good.

Oooh I have two tarantulas and my brother keeps their shedded skins in jars...it's kind of neat because the fangs come right out with the skin!

His snakes shed a lot too...Ollie (the younger snake) sheds like a motherfucker! He shed about five times in a couple months - apparently he's growing fast!

The snakes are so cool though, I went into my bro's room to print something yesterday, and they were both curled up in their water dishes! heh...I told him we should get them a pool but he said that's a bad idea. Hmph.

no way!! a pool would be a sweet idea...imagine the snakes lightly skimmming over the surface, and your neigbour is about to hop in, without your permission.
