Being Diagnosed with Arthritis at 25 years old
So after a few months of dealing with pain with my kidney and after a shit load of tests that have been done I have been diagnosed with arthritis. Turns out this kidney stone I had was not a build up of calcium or sugar it was a crystalized uric acid that deposited into my kidney and caused me a shit load of pain. I have also been experiencing pain with my joints at my knee's and my wrists (thought it was carpel tunnel syndrome) and based on those symptoms and the fact that there is an extreme high level of uric acid in my blood and urine it has come to the conclusion by both my family doctor and the urologist as well as some other specialist that it appears that I am in the early stages of having arthritis.
The only thing however is that the only way I can see that I got this was simply genetically. Because high uric acid counts normally occur with people who eat alot of meats (to which I don't) or a person who has an eating disorder like anorexia where the body produces and releases these acids due to lack of fluids, minerals, proteins, etc.... On my fathers side however there is some history in regards to arthritis. Perfect example is my dad who has degenerative disk disease and had to get surgery on his back and neck to correct it.... So by the time I am 40 I'll probably be a complete gimp....:( |

^ how the fuck will eating a lot of chicken cartilage get ride of the uric acid buildup in his joints? will it magically suck it up or what? wtf is wrong with you?
bold has something called gout. his doctor will probably prescribe him something called allopurinol to treat it. but you probably think this is a fake disease that pharmaceutical companies invented in order to make billions of dollars. |

You know it is possible to cure more than one symptom at a time. What I recommended will strengthen the joints. I didn't say eat the meat, if I did, maybe you would have a case.
Other than that he should drink cherry juice and celery juice, and stick to raw fruits and vegis and proper distilled water. No conspiracy here, looks like you're the only one who's paranoid. |

ya I am on allopurinol right now. Its uses to try and balance out the uric acid. We'll have to see but they think this is something more genetic then anything cause anything that causes uric acid does not fit my description of my life style.... the way I eat and such..... its weird... |

It's inevitable that this will happen to me soon. My grandpa had arthritis in 60% of his body, my dad in over 80%. In all the sports I used to play, I took a shitkicking and played hurt all the time, so that definitely doesn't bode well for the future either.
b0ld, you better hope that you don't get arthritis as bad as my old man. The cost of the medications he has to be on all the time is crazy. So, you better hope you find a job with a great medical plan. I think my old man goes through about $1000 worth of medications per month. |

So, has anyone used salmon oil and flaxseed oil?
I've been on both for about a year now, and my moods are stable and most of my aches and pains are mild. Sadly though, after each day out i have to rest 1-4, sometimes a week, from all the excitement. |
