Japan Marketing Youth as Accessories (to complement the Western worship of youth)
Chokkan 2 Nogashita sakana wa ookii zo (Intuition 2 The fish you let slip by is huge) Lyrics A sample of the first stanza and chorus (skipping Japanese lyrics): The fish that got away was big Even though the first meeting was so important The fish that got away was delicious There's no way that it'll come again Don't push and pull, Continuing as yourself is fine Because you're pushing and pulling, The results will backfire That's right, that's right, that's right totally That's right, that's right, that's right totally That's right, that's right, that's right totally, just like that In the best condition it's a careful service (That's right, that's right, that's right totally) While you're choosing You're passing over someone first (That's right, that's right, that's right totally, just like that) Time is money You don't go and say that? (That's right, that's right, that's right totally) After it's gone You start to really want it That's right, that's right, that's right totally That's right, that's right, that's right totally That's right, that's right, that's right totally, just like that Believe in intuition (That's right x7) Let's give thanks (That's right x7) The time while you're being scolded is a flower Let's learn from our mistakes Basically this song for the men to use better bait when trolling for love. However, it is still selling one and only one kind of product: young and beautiful women. Last edited by jenai; Nov 29, 07 at 08:59 PM. |

I'll let Morning Musume tell it like it is:
The fish that got away was big Even though the first meeting was so important The fish that got away was delicious There's no way that it'll come again The fish that got away: the girl whose heart you did not win who may be your first love. big: the most important love because it is First Love. delicious: First Loves are the most tastiest because we tend to have tolerance of love on the rebound. |

^^yeah, maybe.
The whole song is ambiguous. However, the underlying theme tends to suggest that they are talking about a relationship. Love is never mentioned, but big fish could mean love. That would mean, that the big, delicious (haha) fish that got a way could be a girl you loved. I think the point is that they were trying to explain that you should be happy in your relationships, because you might end up on the wrong side of the fishing pole someday (hahaha) Fucking Japanese, heheheeheehe |

Yet our cops are profiting from busting pedos.
both pedos and cops are dupes of the Patriarchy. I say we should put more women in charge and veer left again. As for Japan, it's true there is what you'd call child porn, but the age of consent is 13 in most parts of Japan and the porn industry, of which yakuza are big investors, exploits that so much so the policy makers claim that they'd lose tax profits if they got hard on porn. So only if being adult at 20 [to be lowered to 18 by maybe 2010) is legal, then yes, a 19 yr old is technically a child in Japan etc etc etc. But only if north american morals are imposed. and i think you'd have problems convincing the average Japanese. thought crime is not illegal in Japan, but just being independent and rebellious at 19 is immoral. j3rk: those girls graduated man.
musume is a constant rotation. and most if the graduated ones are like nothing now. matsuura ran her moment but she was sorta conceited. ur chick up there was the hottest but her singing wasn't up to par. i personally thought yaguchi mari was the best. humour-wise anyway.. she wasn't really pretty |
