Stupid Technics Goto Hell!!
so about 5 months ago i get a bunch of money and goto a store to buy some decks, i say i want 2 tech 12's mark 3's. They say sure 750 each plus tax, and i say ok then. because then store that i bought them at dosent carry stock they gave me some loners (mk2's) until mine arive.
i start calling about a month later to see if they have arived yet and nothing happends untill almost 2 months later when said store sais to me " i have bad news and good news" i say "ok then as long as you tell me only a couple more days i will be happy :)" they say"they bad news is, that the technics production line is on strick and nobody is getting anything" crap i think what the hell "also they desided to discontinue the mark 3" so now i think dont tell me im gonna get mark 2's cause i didnt spend all that for something old. " the good news is is that your gonna be one of the first kids on the block with mk5's tho :)" my belly jumps for joy at the sound of that. the thing is is that they never came for almost 5 months and when they get here they are b-grade, they are not up to par, on one of them the thing that holds the leg on is ripped out of the rubber and on both of them the platters wobble about 3 millimiters... WHY THE FUCK WHOULD THEY DO THAT!!! ITS SUCH BAD BUISNESS FOR THEM. AND IT MAKES ME SO MAD!!!!! at the cost of almost 1000 bucks a pop i would highly recomend taking your money and getting the ttx-1 insted of dealing with these bastards, they dont even want to take any responsability for these crappy decks that wobble and are sub standard, luckally the store that i bought from if futting the bill to get them fixed so DOWN WITH TECHNICS GOTO HELL AND BURN! :finger:

the pick up is the same as the 2 and 3's
the look is identacle to the three's with the resesed power switch, the only differences are o-6 grams anti-skate, and user adjustable breaking (you can make it really hard so that it will actually backspin a little when ou press stop or you can make it long as if you just power off)

yeah but you would think that after making the same thing since 1968 they would figure out how to not have problems with their equipment or at least now making the 5th model you would think that they would have allof the flaws worked out :finger:

So they forgot the rubber bit on one of the feet and suddenly you think the entire schematic of the technic turntable is flawed? My guess is that the store you bought it from pulled one out of the box and foot came off without anyone noticing. Maybe you should take that up with the store you bought them from? And no one is 'futting' the bill to get them fixed. It's called manufacture's warranty, which basically means Panasonic is taking the time to repair whatever the problem is, which is the closest to an apology that a corporation can get.

i never said that all 1200's are flawed, i said that you would think that they would have worked all of the flaws out, as in not sending b-grad decks to an a-grade buyer, with the leg, its not the stores fault because they never opened the box, exen the bill of ladding was still in the envelope to prove that they had never been open opened, and yeah you can call it just the warranty or garranty, but all that is is them saying "ok sorry will will pay for it"
so there is sombody footing the bill somewhere, my problem isnt with techniques or with panasonic or with the store, its with quality control... a company should cheack out what they are sending before they send it

how can i buy it from a shitty location??they are all made at the same place and they are all packed by the same people... anyways they denied that there were any problems with them what so ever so i got my money back and i get the numark ttx-1's in about a week

sorry for not reading all the posts in here, so some of my comments may be redundant
#1 - all tech's come with warranty's..........so give the number a call and get them fixed #2 - what store did you deal with? #3 - why would you reccomend a different product do to bad customer service?........its not like technics themselves fucked you over

so i picked up my numark ttx-1's and i HIGHLY recomend them...
personally i fell that they are way beter with all of the options aside the torque is beter and the feel is nicer!!! PLUS they have all of the features... there is no going wrong with these!! :c-tard:
