...I am the only person that has been registered since 2001 that is NOT part of the F&K team and that is NOT included in other "benefits" (*cough* sections *cough*) of being a member for that long....

NO fair!

I think that...someone should tell me some differences between the supreme and provincial courts, think up an intro, and write a very short 5-10 page paper on it. It's due tomorrow. Double spaced please!

I think that...I'm still thinking about being left out of this whole 'F&K team' thing! Is there something special that these people contribute to the site? I betcha it's just because I like strawberries that I'm excluded...oh, that and because I'm a loser.

I think that...I need to go to Ikea and buy a hanging lamp/light.

My thoughts at the moment. Care to share yours?

awww... to be honest, I have no clue why you're not on the f&k team or in any err... "sections". but yeah... I totally think you should be.

I have no idea how I got the f&k team title. I just noticed it one day and was like "whoa... how did I get this?"

heh, hopefully this post will get you the recognition you deserve! lol.

anyways, provincial and supreme court difference? write about how supreme court decisions are law binding and the provincial courts are not. maybe you can include an example of a case brief to fill up space :)

I thought that you could take up the next appeal at the Court of Appeal of B.C.? So I don't think it's completely law binding. Thanks for the input though. I am going to cite 2 cases I heard at the Provincial and the Supreme last weekend.

oops, sorry. from what I remember, you can make an appeal if the decision was made in the supreme court of BC, and those decisions make a bigger impact than decisions made in provincial courts.

but if it's a ruling made by the supreme court of Canada, the decision becomes law binding.

*sigh* I miss criminology :(
