Geezus.....why are people so damn cocky when they're sheltered by the comfort of a computer screen?!!
I've seen a lot of you in person, ex. Forgettable, and I doubt that you'd ever have the courage to badmouth anyone, and I mean ANYONE, in person. So what gives you the right to do it on here?! You say that online persona differs from the real world?! Yeah right. None of you are better than anyone. So stop this dumb power trip. *Jen* |

does it matter if we say it on here or say it in real life? The point is if you think it it should be announced... Just because we can't say it to a person's face doesn't mean it should remained bottled up inside... the internet has just been a tool to help those who have problems comunicating they're thoughts and opinions in person.. I know i am one of these people... and if you ask me it's helped me be a lot more forward with people when i meet them face to face... nobody wants to hide behind a fake exterior... and the only thing preventing us from being ourselves in person is our unfortunate lack of self confidence... this is how we chose to deal with it...
so there you go starberry you have your fucking answer |

Thanks... :183: I'm so happy that you have been able to grow and to make up for your lack of self-confidence and self-esteem in real life by bashing others online........it shows how technology and modernization is really helping this world.
Anywayz.....my point of that post was just to state the obvious. People feel so comfortable and safe when expressing themselves online, but what happens when one day your typed words catch up to you and you arrive face to face infront of your opponent? No computer screen to save you then. Sure you can argue that you ARE sheltered by your screen, but the reality is that with the pace that the world is changing and with the intertwining of the world wide web into our everyday lives.....not to mention the closeness of all the Lower Mainland boards.....one of these days you're gonna see yourself and your confrontation in the real world. And I hardly think that you'll have a case to argue and talk things through, seeing as how the bashing of adminz is so pointless and thoughtless. God.....does it really make you feel better to call someone a fat bitch online?! This helps you grow?!?? If you can honestly say it does....well then....you are a sad person. And no, it doesn't matter if you say it on here or in real life. It matters if you say it at all. Why not try to strengthen yourself without lowering other people's confidence?! *Jen* |

Hey jen
you know why I think Jeff REALLY made this thread? to get people all worked up. And it worked perfectly. and as for what Xgoddess said, I completely agree. message boards and online chatting with people helped me deal with self confidence issues, and now I don't really even have those issues anymore, not nearly as much as I did when I came out of high school. Sure I've bashed people alot online before, sometimes with good reason to, sometimes without. And I've usually done it just cause I'm bored and I want to see how much people get worked up online, not because I actually hate them. What it all boils down to is DON'T FEED THE TROLLS. |

And Jovi....I don't know how you don't associate internet personalities with the personality of the person. I mean, when I see you I see what you type, cuz that's all I know about you. You know what I mean?! I doubt that that means I need to get a life, because, quite frankly....I have quite a full one. *Jen* |
