i poi, and i see nothing wrong with doing any of it at parties..if someone gets hit by it, seriously its their own fault for not watching where their going...ppl who poi, or spin staff look for open areas so they dont hit anyone(well i do atleast).

Glow sticks help you get the rythem, it's like wearing a three piece suit to a fancy resturant. After awhile once you feel comfortable with it you just go naked.

I used glow sticks for awhile, but now I compensate glow sticks with a water bottle or something else. It helps to have something in your hand when you dance, if you don't go to dance and you still have glow sticks you are a child in trauma.

I like watching poi although I don't usually see it at raves, I watch it outside with the fire and such. The kind with glowsticks isn't as entertaining but as long as your having fun do whatever, just don't hit me!
