Doomsday Is Done

Mother of god just saw the spooky lineup.

LISA LASHES, RANK 1, ALPHAZONE, PUSH

There is no comparison. Solids lineup is finished, picotto was big in the days but no one really cares much now. Tomcraft is just garbage minus one hit song. And well sorry boys anne savage can not compare to the queen of hard house.

I think everyone will agree, twisted blows solid out of the water this time.

The parties have different line ups for a reason : There will be many who will choose to go to Doomsnight due to the DJ's which will be there. Just as there is going to be many who will go to Spooky!

Doomsnight is far from ' done ' or however you want to look at it. We will only know how it turns out on October 30th :)

ninewells is refering to past history when 2 production companies try to go head-to-head with massives on the same night

the fact is there is just isnt enough ravers to fill up to 2 massives on the same night

halloween night has a better chance for them to succeed than any other night. but still i would definitly agree with him. both stand to lose to money most likely

Its amusing to see how people think we are done when the flyers aren't even printed out yet nor do you people know how many presales have be done even before spooky's lineup was announced. :) Both will be GREAT shows and thats all I have to say.

Plus didn't we say we MIGHT be having additions to our lineup even before Spooky announced their lineup. :devil1: I'll repeat this one more time - get your tickets ASAP.

cheers.

I don't think any of those count as marks FOR Spooky

I'm not for or against anyone and I didn't say you were done. Anything is possible... i just don't see a happy profit outcome for 2 massifs on the same night without shortcuts.

I don't want to say too much b/c i really don't care and its a risk of throwing a show.

you should actually read my post
and thats good you have a lot of pre-sales
ill bet both shows will be wicked
i was simply saying that i cant remember too many times over the years that 2 production companies threw massives and both made profits
you both have pretty good lineups and im sure will be good shows
i am just talking about finances...

Its interesting how people think we do always do a show for profit. Yes. Its great when their is money to be made. But our last 2 IMF shows have lost an accumlated $60,000 as you may see our lineups are NEVER cheap. Its either ALL in or not at all. Plus we always have very reasonable prices for our events. We do our shows to build our reputation and to raise the standards /caliber in the shows in Vancouver (and possible across Canada). Look now, you have two great halloween shows to pick from rather than just 1 single party :) Both MUST have solid lineups plus competitive prices in order to be successful.

cheers.

ps: i think Vancouver's spoiled with two kickass show this halloween. lol

yeah we never said it wasnt going to be a good show
and we also never said you not only about the money
we are just talking about finances for about the third time now
we just said it will be very hard not to lose money
and judging by last 2 shows then we are too far off...

Vancouver is spoiled.

Just look who would think that they would ever get a chance to pick between these two line ups. Surely when I first started partying never in my dreams would I have thought to be able to see Mauro Picotto, Anne Savage, Tomcraft, Lisa Lashes, Alphazone, MIKE etc etc

Their both good line ups.
